A Walk In The Forest

I was inspired by a walk around the Whittier Birthplace's grounds in Haverhill, MA. This is the path leading to Ferside Brook and the site of the old mill. It’s no surprise that such a beautiful landscape inspired Whittier to write his poems! I love painting calming nature scenes in watercolor - it never gets tiring.
